I am fast, always was, forever will be. I love chaos and work amazingly well under pressure. To be honest, smooth doesn't suit me well.....that's what people think! The truth is that I am just a blondie with so much stuff in my brain that pushes me to jump from a thing to another...and it usually works out well....at least hypothetically. I learned long time ago to secure my back and lift my guard as high as possible. Life can never hit you this way! So I always doubled up things in case something, in my chaotic existence, didn't work out....but it should, shouldn't it? Anyway, if I leave a legacy to you peeps that is to always keep spare possibilities....and a spare IPhone as well. Let me justify myself.
I woke up happy yesterday and first thing I remembered was....no, not my last night dream!....the fact that I was off from right after my class in the morning up to 4pm. Huge amount of time to spend on beautician treatments that may....or may not....keep me young....er! My happiness lasted less than a second...then I realised that my IPhone died in its sleep at night. No problem! I had a spare one. I told you I always kept one just in case. However, the damaged one had to be fixed....not because it was dead.... mostly because I didn't have a viable spare one anymore!
So, I continued my phone saga by ringing Apple itself. No doubt there, a strong Indian accent dude assured me. Another nice one, I noticed, so back to the weather subject. A half an hour later everything was organised. I just had to wait for another email, which arrived surprisingly quite fast.....with a nasty little excitement. According to it, in order for my IPhone to be sorted once forever I had to enter my credit card details, pay..... for a free under warranty job....
So back on the phone with Apple. This time, the guy had a different accent and, as hard as I tried, I couldn't suss it out. Not a nice lad this time, no weather talk, and an hour later we were still at square one. This is the point when he decided to put me through a more qualified staff. Another Indian accent, another friendly guy who assured me that he is there for me and only me. He would help me no matter what, he would email me, make my problem a breeze and make sure that, at the end of the end, my experience would be fab. He asked me once again my address for a further delivery of my refurbished phone and urged me to stay with my eyes wide open on my inbox. His email came fast and the message was short. I had to send my iPhone to somewhere in Aussie and they would post me back a new one....if I gave him my address....again. So I did..... for the fifth time, but the whole experience made me more than sceptical. But I couldn't focus on negative thoughts because it was already 4pm and I had to start back work....No beauty treatments, nor IPhone...
So, guys, I achieved nothing after more than 5 hours on the phone with all sorts and I kind of wonder who hired all those people I've been on the phone with for so long. It definitely should be nepotism, cos there was not even a slight idea professionalism. Yep, some people were born under the right stars and don't have to move a finger to keep a job.....one that after every phone call sends out a survey about how happy me, the client, was after the experience I had with their customer service and whether I would strongly agree to recommend them to others. Now let me tell you how happy I was in a single word. Crap....and no recommendation!
What's new with my deceased IPhone you may ask. Thanks for the question. It is in Hamilton, 3 hours away from where I live, where I shipped it yesterday and where a guy would fix the problem under warranty....I hope. By the way, I couriered it yesterday and even paid for overnight delivery.....but it hasn't arrived the next day....but this is another story we may develop together. :)
